This caused Roshan to stop crying again, but the squad felt this wasn’t going to make him feel any better. “Here, turn him towards me,” he said as he stood over the baby and hid his eyes, “where’s the baby?”Īfter a brief pause, Diego swiftly revealed his face. The baby started crying again as Diego came up with an idea. Roshan tried doing it himself, but Sid took his hand and set him on the rock. “Here, you hold him,” he said dizzily.ĭiego whacked Sid in the head with his paw, and this caused Roshan to giggle again. “That’s because you both don’t like Sid,” said Cassidy as she comforted Kimmy.Īs Roshan cried again, Sid turned to Diego. “It’s making me feel better too,” said Manfred, who liked doing that. Manfred did so, and Roshan giggled again. “Hey do that again,” said Diego, “he likes it.” This action caused Roshan to giggle a little, before resuming crying. Manfred whacked Sid in the head with his trunk. “SID,” complained Kimmy, who didn’t like that joke. “It’s clean,” teased Sid, “gotchya! Hahahaha…” But to everyone’s surprise, there was nothing in it, nor was it dirty. She squirmed and frantically threw it aside. “Ooh, ooh, I’m gonna slip,” said Sid as he tried keeping his footing.īut as this happened, Sid smirked before tossing the diaper in midair. With the diaper in his hands, Sid started moving around. “EW, YUCK! EW,” he exclaimed as he removed Roshan’s diaper, “I mean, my goodness.” “I don’t think that’s a good thing to say,” she muttered.Īs for Sid, he stood over Roshan and squirmed as he did what Manfred told him too. Kaytlin swiftly covered Wubbzy’s mouth, not wanting him to get in trouble. “Wow, you really are grumpy,” said Wubbzy. Trying to think of a way out, Sid asked, “why else?”Īs Sid nervously stepped away from the mammoth, the squad looked at him with shocked expressions. “Because returning the runt was your idea, because you’re small and insignificant, and because I’ll pummel you if you don’t,” he said. Manfred stood over the intimidated sloth and got closer and closer as he brought up each thing about Sid. “Hey why am I the poop checker,” asked Sid. “Ok, you,” Manfred said to Sid, “check for poop.” Sid swiftly licked Roshan’s nose, but this didn’t stop him from sobbing. “So if he poops, where does it go,” asked Manfred.ĭiego squirmed about this thought. “Hey, he’s wearing one of those baby thingies,” said Manfred.
“How’s that supposed to fix the problem,” asked Dennis, who didn’t think it was going to work. “Someone should lick it, just in case,” said Diego. “That means something’s wrong with it,” said Sid. “It’s nose is dry,” said Diego as he looked at the crying Roshan. “You guys need better experience in baby care,” said Kyle. “Jeez, ‘pick him up, put him down,’ nya, nya, nya, nya, nya,” said Sid as he put Roshan on a small rock. “Just put it down,” complained Diego, irritated. “WATCH IT’S HEAD,” exclaimed Cassidy worriedly. “It wont’ stop squirming,” said Sid who was holding the baby upside down. “I’ve eaten things that didn’t complain this much,” said Diego. “You gotta make it stop,” complained Manfred, “I can’t take it anymore.” Throughout most of the journey, the baby was crying loudly. However, this was not without baby problems. They had their minds set on returning the baby. This was going to be a long and tough journey, due to Manfred being a reluctant ally, and Rudy acting suspicious of Diego, but the squad did not focus on that at the moment.
With the decision confirmed to return the baby to the humans, the group headed out north to reach them before they reach Glacier Pass.
